Our Chosen Charity for 2011
The Andover Parkinson Support Group
We are delighted to announce that our chosen Charity for 2011 is The Parkinson's UK Andover Support Group. This charity is close to our hearts as our Carnival Treasurer Maureen Faill was diagnosed with Parkinson's last year. This is our way of thanking Maureen for the many hours of hard work and dedication she has contributed helping with the Carnival over the last four years, and the Carnival Committee wish her well and hope that our donation this year will not only help her, but all the other Parkinson sufferers in and around Andover.

During the year we have been pleased to support the following Charities with special fundraising events arranged on their behalf by the Carnival team......

- Scotty's Little Soldiers
- The Rotary Club of Andover - Shelterbox Appeal
- The Enham Trust
Altogether we have raised £2,300 for the above Charities and would like to thank everyone involved and those who came and supported us.
Unfortunately we could not support all the Charities who contacted us this year, so please contact us again after this year's Carnival to see if we can help you in 2012.
